Specialist Training – People Screening Project
Prometheus Policing Services (PPS) Canine Division are training nine Labradors and a Pointer as part of a Department for Transport project looking at their use to screen people for concealed materials.
Between June and October 2024, we are looking for volunteers to act as stooges for the dogs to screen as part of their ongoing training.
The training will take place in and around the Burgess Hill area and the commitment will normally be for around three hours. A flat rate expense fee of £30 per day is payable for those taking part.
A full briefing will be given prior to taking part, but this will be a relaxed few hours and you will be directed throughout by a member of the team.
Once you have completed this form, we will add you to our database and then contact you to check your availability. We will normally look to give 3-4 weeks’ notice including details of where the training is taking place and how to get there.
